POWER26: The Flagship Conference Is Coming To Your City

When Black In HR made the decision to pause its flagship POWER conference and redirect energy toward the launch of local chapters, the organization had a clear vision: build the foundation before building the stage. That investment has paid off. Chapters across the country have grown, local leadership has strengthened, and community has taken root in cities nationwide.

Now, that community is ready to host.

Black In HR is proud to announce the return of POWER26, reimagined as a national tour co-hosted by local chapters in cities across the country. What began as a single flagship event is evolving into something bigger: a movement that meets members where they are.

"POWER has always been about more than a conference. It is about what happens when Black HR professionals come together with purpose. We paused to build something sustainable, and now our chapters are ready to lead. POWER26 is the result of that work, and we are just getting started."

Prathan Powell, President & CEO, Black In HR

POWER26 will kick off in the summer, with stops in the DMV, Dallas, Houston, Charlotte, Atlanta, and more cities to be announced throughout 2026. Each event will be locally hosted by Black In HR chapter leaders, bringing the full POWER experience with hometown energy. Each stop will feature a full day of programming, including workshops led by HR executives, panel discussions facilitated by chapter leaders, and hands-on training sessions hosted by Ciera Parks and CWC Training, one of the key hosts of POWER26.

"This tour is personal to me. We are not just delivering training. We are creating space for Black HR professionals to grow, lead, and connect in their own cities. POWER26 is about meeting our community with the excellence they deserve, right at home." Ciera Parks, CWC Training & Key Host, POWER26

Every ticket includes a full day of programming alongside complimentary breakfast, a catered lunch, and after-hours events hosted by local chapters.
