From October 7–11, the city will become the center of the HR universe as The HR Takeover Experience brings together leaders, innovators, and rising stars from across the country for one week of high-energy learning, networking, and celebration.
This isn’t one organization’s show — it’s a collaboration between four of the most influential HR groups in the city: ATD Atlanta, Black In HR, NAAAHR Atlanta, and SHRM Atlanta. Together, they’re creating a jam-packed schedule where every day offers something new, every room is filled with opportunity, and every ticket unlocks the full experience — including exclusive rooftop receptions, mixers, and after-hours events.
A Week of Power-Packed Programming
The week kicks off on Monday, October 7, when SHRM Atlanta hosts its Speed Mentoring Social. Imagine quick, impactful conversations with seasoned leaders who can offer fresh perspectives and career-shaping advice — followed by a lively networking social where you can turn those introductions into lasting connections.
By Wednesday, October 8, the spotlight shifts to NAAAHR Atlanta with their Workshops & Happy Hour. This is where practical learning meets relaxed networking — a perfect blend of skill-building and relationship-building, all in one afternoon and evening.
On Thursday, October 9, the energy peaks as Black In HR takes over the beautiful MODEx Studio for a full-day event: The Business of You. This immersive experience is designed to help professionals run their careers like the most important business they’ll ever own.
