Black In HR Partners with Blacks in Industrial Organizational Psychology (BIOP) and National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) SF Bay Area Professionals to Expand Opportunities for Black leaders.

Sept 30, 2024 – Black In HR, a prominent organization dedicated to empowering Black and Brown professionals in Human Resources and other fields, proudly announces strategic partnerships with two leading organizations: Blacks in Industrial Organizational Psychology (BIOP) and the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) SF Bay Area Professionals . This collaboration is set to significantly expand opportunities for Black professionals across multiple industries, enhancing their career prospects and professional development.


Black In HR has long been at the forefront of addressing the challenges faced by Black and Brown professionals, offering mentorship, technical skills training, and a robust network of industry leaders. This new alliance is designed to further its mission by joining forces with BIOP and NSBE SF Bay Area Professionals, organizations equally committed to increasing representation and success for Black professionals.


Blacks In Industrial Organizational Psychology (BIOP) is dedicated to advancing Black professionals in the field of Industrial Organizational Psychology through career development, strategic alliances, and the amplification of Black voices within the industry.


The organization works to bridge the gap for Black I/O psychologists, practitioners, and students, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to thrive in a competitive landscape.


Similarly, National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) SF Bay Area Professionals is a driving force in fostering the academic and professional success of Black engineers. The organization’s mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel in their fields and make a positive impact on their communities. NSBE’s initiatives focus on mentorship, career advancement, and addressing the unique challenges faced by Black professionals in STEM disciplines.


The partnership introduces a Joint Membership Program that allows members of BIOP and NSBE SF Bay Area Professionals to gain exclusive access to Black In HR's robust network of over ten thousand HR leaders. Through this program, members can benefit from a wide array of resources, including mentorship, career coaching, and direct job referrals. Members will have the opportunity to connect with HR executives ready to help them identify their next role, grow their careers, and become leaders within their industries. This initiative aims to create a seamless connection across HR, I/O Psychology, and Engineering sectors, providing comprehensive support tailored to the unique needs of Black and Brown professionals.

This strategic partnership will leverage the strengths of all three organizations to offer a comprehensive suite of resources, including leadership development programs, industry-specific training, and networking opportunities that span the HR, I/O Psychology, and Engineering sectors. The collaboration is poised to create new pathways for Black professionals, providing them with the tools and connections necessary to excel in their careers and drive meaningful change within their industries.
