Agreement between User and THE BLACK IN HR
Membership Terms & Conditions
By subscribing to our membership program, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are legally binding and apply to all membership plans offered.
1. Payment Policy & No Refunds
All payments made toward membership fees are final and non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to, payments for initial subscriptions, renewals, upgrades, downgrades, or cancellations. We do not offer refunds or credits for partial membership periods, unused services, or dissatisfaction with any aspect of the membership. This strict no-refund policy applies to both individual and employer-sponsored memberships.
We encourage prospective members to thoroughly review the benefits of the membership before subscribing. If there are questions or concerns, please reach out to us prior to completing your purchase.
2. Membership Renewal Policy
Memberships purchased on an annual basis will automatically renew on the anniversary of the initial subscription date. We will provide a 30-day renewal notice via email prior to the renewal date. Members who wish to cancel must do so in writing at least 30 days prior to the scheduled renewal date to avoid additional charges.
3. Membership Management & Billing
Members are responsible for maintaining current billing information and managing their subscriptions. Changes to your billing or membership status can be made in writing via email or by visiting this link.
All changes are processed based on the date we receive your written request.
4. Non-Transferability
Memberships are non-transferable. Access to membership benefits is restricted to the individual who originally purchased or was assigned the membership. Memberships may not be sold, transferred, or assigned to another individual under any circumstances.
5. Employer-Sponsored Memberships
Employer-sponsored memberships are subject to the same non-refundable policy outlined above. It is the employer’s responsibility to monitor the status of their employees' memberships. In the event an employee leaves the organization, the employer must cancel the membership and disable auto-renewal prior to the next billing cycle. Charges incurred due to failure to cancel will not be refunded.
6. Data Sharing & Marketing
By registering for membership, members acknowledge and agree that their app activity and profile information may be shared with sponsors and strategic partners for marketing and engagement purposes. This may include, but is not limited to, member names, profile fields, participation data, and general usage trends.
Members have the right to opt out of this data sharing at any time. To do so, you may either:

Submit a written opt-out request via email, or

Toggle off data sharing preferences within your personal settings during or after registration in the app.
We respect your privacy and will honor all requests in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.
7. Amendments to Terms
We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of your membership constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We recommend reviewing this policy regularly to stay informed of any changes.
Termination/Access Restriction
Black In HR reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate your access to the Site and the related services or any portion thereof at any time, without notice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, this agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia and you hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts in Georgia in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of the Site. Use of the Site is unauthorized in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of these Terms, including, without limitation, this section.
You agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and Black In HR as a result of this agreement or use of the Site. Black In HR's performance of this agreement is subject to existing laws and legal process, and nothing contained in this agreement is in derogation of Black In HR's right to comply with governmental, court and law enforcement requests or requirements relating to your use of the Site or information provided to or gathered by Black In HR with respect to such use. If any part of this agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law including, but not limited to, the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations set forth above, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of the agreement shall continue in effect.
Unless otherwise specified herein, this agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the user and Black In HR with respect to the Site and it supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral or written, between the user and Black In HR with respect to the Site. A printed version of this agreement and of any notice given in electronic form shall be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings based upon or relating to this agreement to the same extent and subject to the same conditions as other business documents and records originally generated and maintained in printed form. It is the express wish to the parties that this agreement and all related documents be written in English.
Changes to Terms
Black In HR reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change the Terms under which THEBLACKINHR.COM is offered. The most current version of the Terms will supersede all previous versions. Black In HR encourages you to periodically review the Terms to stay informed of our updates.
